Spanish news outlet SPORT<\/a> has reported that Dusan Vlahovic, the striker for Juventus<\/a>, has been offered to Barcelona in the ongoing transfer window. Arsenal have been interested in the talismanic striker for long, but it seems like Barcelona can now have an opportunity to bring him to their club.<\/p>\n

Barcelona get a chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Serbian striker moved to Juventus for Fiorentina for \u20ac80 million in the summer transfer window of 2022. He was sensational for Fiorentina and was rated as one of the best strikers in the league. However, the Serbian has been inconsistent with his performances during his tenure in Turin.<\/p>\n

He has appeared in 17 matches\u00a0this season in\u00a0Serie A, playing a total of 1333 minutes. Du\u0161an Vlahovi\u0107 scores an average of 0.47 goals for every 90 minutes that the player is on the pitch. This attacking performance currently places him at 19th out of 384 Serie A Players who\u2019ve played at least three matches.<\/p>\n

Dusan Vlahovic\u2019s total G\/A (goals + assists) is eight for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.54 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.36. This puts Dusan Vlahovic\u2019s npxG output at 5.27, which puts him in the top 91 percentile of Serie A players. It is quite good but hasn\u2019t been the consistency that Juventus would have liked.<\/p>\n

Will it be a good move for Barcelona?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

However, the Serbian striker is still liked by many high-profile clubs. The Catalan club has meanwhile been offered the opportunity to sign him. Robert Lewandowski has been going strong for Barcelona still but has lacked the sharpness. The club needs a good replacement for the 36-year-old, and they have the opportunity to bring in Vlahovic.<\/p>\n

Vlahovic is good in the air and is also clinical in front of goal. The Serbian commands presence inside the box because of his physical stature and can also excel in link-up play, which is crucial for any striker trying to thrive at Barcelona. However, one thing that he still needs to improve is his ball retention.<\/p>\n

The Serbian can go on to become a good option for Barcelona. The intermediaries have offered the player to the Catalan club and it remains to be seen if Barca does accept that opportunity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
