Liverpool welcomed Paris Saint-Germain at Anfield earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds made a decent start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.<\/p>\n

Arne Slot\u2019s men conceded the opening goal in the 72nd minute when Ousmane Dembele found the back of the net. Dembele doubled his team\u2019s advantage in injury time as Liverpool crashed to a lackluster 2-0 loss at Anfield (4-0 on aggregate).<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Liverpool<\/a> player fared during the clash against PSG.<\/p>\n

GK: Giorgi Mamardashvili \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few solid saves at the back but couldn\u2019t do much about both of Dembele\u2019s goals tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Jeremie Frimpong \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Frimpong gave away the ball cheaply at times and failed to be a threat going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: Ibrahima Konate \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He defended his lines well for most of the game, but looked weak in the latter stages of the contest.<\/p>\n

CB: Virgil Van Dijk \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Van Dijk struggled to keep Dembele quiet and was wasteful in the final third.<\/p>\n

LB: Milos Kerkez \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kerkez showed a lot of fight when closing the opposition down and looked lively inside the PSG half.<\/p>\n

CM: Ryan Gravenberch \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few promising runs with the ball but didn\u2019t have his shooting boots on tonight.<\/p>\n

CM: Alexis Mac Allister \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mac Allister interchanged possession well for his team, but went to the ground too often inside the opponent\u2019s penalty area.<\/p>\n

CM: Dominik Szoboszlai \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was full of energy and running at the centre of the park. However, Szoboszlai lacked quality with his crossing.<\/p>\n

CAM: Florian Wirtz \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wirtz grew into the game but never looked like he would score.<\/p>\n

ST: Alexander Isak \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He hardly got a kick in the game and was replaced at half-time.<\/p>\n

ST: Hugo Ekitike \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ekitike made a bright start to the game, but had to go off injured in the 30th minute.<\/p>\n

RW: Mohamed Salah \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few key chances for others around him but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

RB: Joe Gomez \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gomez was strong on the ball but wasted a good chance to score.<\/p>\n

LW: Cody Gakpo \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n

LW: Rio Ngumoha \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He added some pace to Slot\u2019s attack.<\/p>\n
