Arsenal will clash heads with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Sporting recently, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways this weekend.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make one tweak to his first team for this game. Leandro Trossard could play from the start of this game, while Noni Madueke makes way for him and drops to the bench.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

David Raya will be named as Arsenal<\/a>\u2018s goalkeeper for this game after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. William Saliba will resume his partnership with Gabriel at the centre of the Arsenal backline as they look to keep a solid shape when defending inside their half.<\/p>\n

Cristhian Mosquera will hope to impress as the right-back, while Piero Hincapie looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will try to go forward and express themselves inside the Man City half.<\/p>\n

Ben White will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Arteta could name a midfield three of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze. They will look to anchor the midfield well for the Gunners and engineer some inviting chances in and around the Arsenal penalty box.<\/p>\n

Christian Norgaard and Kai Havertz will make up the numbers on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Leandro Trossard will try to prove his value as the left-sided wide player, while Gabriel Martinelli hopes to make a difference as the right-sided wide player.<\/p>\n

Viktor Gyokeres will lead the line for the North London club up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real threat down the middle.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Jesus will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if the Gunners are in need of a goal by then.<\/p>\n
