West Ham are ready to move on from Konstantinos Mavropanos, placing a \u20ac30m price tag on the Greek centre-back for the upcoming summer window. According to Sky Deutschland, several clubs, including a few from the Bundesliga,\u00a0have already<\/a> reached out to express interest, and the 28-year-old is reportedly open to the move.<\/p>\n

How did the Mavropanos situation develop at West Ham?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Hammers brought Mavropanos in from VfB Stuttgart for about \u20ac25m back in August 2023. Before that, he\u2019d spent time at Arsenal and N\u00fcrnberg, eventually impressing enough in Germany for Stuttgart to buy him outright. Both Roma and Villarreal were sniffing around last summer, but a deal with Villarreal fell through when they wouldn\u2019t match West Ham\u2019s asking price. While he stayed put then, the club now seems much more determined to sell.<\/p>\n

Mavropanos has been a regular this term, starting 25 Premier League games and chipping in with three goals, all of which came at home. Statistically, he\u2019s performing well for a defender; his non-penalty expected goals (xG) per 90 minutes puts him in the top 60% of the league. On the defensive side, he\u2019s averaging about 1.5 tackles and over 7 clearances every game.<\/a> Still, West Ham have conceded 31 goals while he\u2019s been on the pitch, averaging a goal against every 64 minutes, which might give scouts a bit of pause regarding his consistency at the back.<\/p>\n

West Ham shouldn\u2019t let him go for cheap<\/strong><\/h3>\n

West Ham<\/a> held their ground last summer when no one met their price, and they should do the same now. Even if Transfermarkt suggests a lower fee, sticking to that \u20ac30m valuation makes sense. He\u2019s a goal threat in the air and already knows the Bundesliga inside out, making him a perfect fit for German suitors.
