Arsenal faced off against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 16th minute when Rayan Cherki found the back of the net. However, Kai Havertz equalised for Mikel Arteta\u2019s side just a couple of minutes later. Both teams went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Arsenal conceded their second goal in the 65th minute when Erling Haaland got his name on the scoresheet. The match ended with the Gunners suffering a tough 2-1 loss at the Etihad.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against Man City.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raya made a few solid saves at the back but looked a bit shaky on the ball.<\/p>\n

RB: Cristhian Mosquera \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He got stuck in with some crunching tackles and was tidy with his ball distribution.<\/p>\n

CB: William Saliba \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saliba cleared his lines when he could, but would be disappointed after conceding two goals this evening.<\/p>\n

CB: Gabriel \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made two crucial clearances inside his half but failed to keep Haaland quiet in the second half.<\/p>\n

LB: Piero Hincapie \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and made one decent run with the ball.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Odegaard \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Odegaard created a few inviting chances in the final third, but failed to offer enough protection for his teammates at the back.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Zubimendi \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield with conviction and was replaced in the 83rd minute.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rice got stuck in with a few solid tackles and made one key chance in the final third.<\/p>\n

RW: Noni Madueke \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He struggled to get into the flow of the game and put in a disjointed performance on the right flank. Madueke was replaced at half-time.<\/p>\n

ST: Kai Havertz \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Havertz was always willing to have a strike at goal and managed to score the equaliser for Arsenal in the 18th minute. However, he wasted a great chance to score late in the game.<\/p>\n

LW: Eberechi Eze \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was unfortunate to hit the post, but was quiet for most of his time on the pitch.<\/p>\n

LW: Gabriel Martinelli \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n

RB: Ben White \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He struggled to get into the rhythm of the game.<\/p>\n

Trossard made one good chance in the final third.<\/p>\n
