Chelsea faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the third-minute when Fedri Kadioglu found the back of the net. Liam Rosenior\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Jack Hinshelwood doubled his side\u2019s advantage in the 56th minute before Danny Welbeck killed the game off with a good finish in injury time. The match ended with Chelsea suffering a dismal 3-0 loss away from home.<\/p>\n

GK: Robert Sanchez \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanchez made his fair share of saves during the game, but still ended up conceding three times tonight.<\/p>\n

CB: Wesley Fofana \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He earned the ball back twice in the first half and was replaced at half-time.<\/p>\n

CB: Trevoh Chalobah \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chalobah put his foot through the ball when he could and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

He did his fair share of defending but failed to keep things solid inside his half.<\/p>\n

He made a few crucial interceptions at the back, but was caught out of position at times on the defensive end of the pitch.<\/p>\n

CM: Romeo Lavia \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lavia struggled to get a foothold in the game and was replaced in the 72nd minute.<\/p>\n

CM: Moises Caicedo \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He came back to defend when he could, but lacked quality inside the Brighton half.<\/p>\n

CM: Enzo Fernandez \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Argentine talent struggled to get into the flow of the game and put in a disjointed performance at the centre of the park.<\/p>\n

He came back to defend when required, but failed to influence the game going forward.<\/p>\n
