Rangers<\/a> are heading towards another disappointing campaign, as back-to-back defeats to Motherwell and Hearts have shattered their Premiership hopes. But the prospect of spoiling Celtic\u2019s party should be enough motivation for Danny Rohl\u2019s men ahead of Sunday afternoon\u2019s trip to Parkhead for the season\u2019s final Old Firm derby.<\/p>\n

Although the Hoops lost 1-3 when they hosted the Light Blues earlier this year, the re-appointment of Martin O\u2019Neill has turned their fortunes, with Celtic<\/a> now chasing a \u2018domestic double\u2019 under his tutelage. The other two league ties ended all square, but the Celts defeated their bitter rivals twice in the Cup, via extra time and tie-breakers.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It was another below-par performance from Jack Butland, as he conceded twice with just 0.86 xGOT faced. He must step up his game for the remaining fixtures before his contract expires by the end of this month.<\/p>\n

Rangers received a significant injury boost, with Tuur Rommens being introduced as a second-half substitute against the Jambos, overcoming a brief injury layoff. The Belgian must return to the starting XI, which would see Dujon Sterling shift to his preferred right-back role. John Souttar is recovering from a knock, but the gaffer is expected to rely on Nasser Djiga and Emmanuel Fernandez in deep defence, regardless of the Scotsman\u2019s availability this weekend. James Tavernier might be dropped, but the club skipper should feature at some point in his final Old Firm appearance.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Derek McInnes outplayed Rohl with a 3-4-3 setup. His 4-3-3 was neutralised at Tyencastle, and with nothing to lose anymore, the German should revert to his aggressive 4-2-2-2 formation in an attempt to claim all three points at Celtic Park. Nicolas Raskin and Tochi Chukwuani must drive the show from the deep as the \u2018double pivot\u2019, but the manager might bring in fit-again Connor Barron and Mohamed Diomande as second-half substitutes.<\/p>\n

Despite being handed a rare start down the right, Andreas Skov Olsen failed to impress in Edinburgh. He might make way for Djeidi Gassama, with Mikey Moore likely to retain his first-team spot on the left. Besides Skov Olsen, Oliver Antman and Thelo Aasgaard are also there, who could be deployed from the bench to add more firepower in and around the attacking third.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ryan Naderi made a surprise cameo against Hearts, as he returned ahead of schedule from a muscle injury. He might grab a start alongside Youssef Chermiti up top, but is expected to drop deeper and switch to a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Bojan Miovski could replace the young German to offer more directness high up the pitch.<\/p>\n
