Arsenal finished their UEFA Champions League group stage round with a victory over Girona. They will surely be high in confidence before taking onto Manchester City, who has been struggling badly, in the Premier League this weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

A lot of drama unfolded the last time these two sides met this season. However, things have changed drastically for both ends since then. No matter what, fans can expect a lot of intensity, rivalry, and maybe even verbal exchanges between the players.<\/span><\/p>\n

Defence<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Arsenal are sweating over the fitness of David Raya<\/a>, who didn\u2019t participate in the previous game due to a muscular problem. Jurrien Timber is likely to be called up to play as the right-back in the lineup.<\/span><\/p>\n

William Saliba should be replacing Jakub Kiwior at the heart of the defence to partner up with Gabriel Magalhaes. On the flip side, young Myles Lewis-Skelly might get the nod ahead of Riccardo Calafiori for the left full-back role.<\/span><\/p>\n

Midfield<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Thomas Partey, who was used as the right-back, is likely to return to don the deep-lying midfielder avatar. He will have the services of Martin Odegaard<\/a> and Declan Rice alongside in the middle of the park.<\/span><\/p>\n

Attack<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Leandro Trossard is operating on the left wing with Kai Havertz returning as the number nine. However, Mikel Arteta will have to make a choice between Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri for the only left position. The latter did well against Girona and might <\/span>find himself a bit<\/span> unlucky<\/span> not to find a place in the starting XI.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gabriel Jesus<\/a> (knee), Bukayo Saka (hamstring), Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee), and Ben White (knee) are available for this fixture.<\/span><\/p>\n
