Newcastle United surprised everyone when they again <\/span>got the better of<\/span> Arsenal in the EFL Cup. Locking ties in the second leg in the semi-final round, the former side had a 2-0 advantage <\/span>already<\/span>.<\/span> The Gunners failed not only to bounce back but again <\/span>face<\/span> a 2-0 defeat.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this time, the Magpies advance to the <\/span>finale in the competition<\/span>. Their next game is against Birmingham in the <\/span>4th<\/span> round of the FA Cup. They will <\/span>be aiming<\/span> to repeat their heroics and secure a berth for the next round this weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Martin Dubarvka<\/a> made a few good saves against Arsenal and he will be eager to drop a similar sort of performance. Kieran Trippier also had a good game and is retained for the right wing-back duties.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eddie Howe<\/a> is expected to deploy Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali in the middle of the park yet again as they bring control and <\/span>work-rate into<\/span> the side.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anthony Gordon and Jacob Murphy <\/span>are taking<\/span> care of the wings, providing the width and attacking options.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
