The Daily Mail<\/a> has reported that Newcastle United want to sign the 18-year-old prodigy Antonio Cordero from Malaga CF in the upcoming summer transfer window. They will also face competition from the likes of Barcelona<\/a> and Real Madrid<\/a> for the services of the player. There are talks in progress for a pre-contract agreement with the player.<\/p>\n

Can they get the deal done?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Real Madrid and Barcelona, the two La Liga giants, are always on the hunt for teenage prodigies who can serve their club for a longer time. Hence, they are in the race for Cordero. However, the report has clearly stated that Newcastle United are in very advanced talks for a pre-contract agreement with the player and hence are sure to beat the competition from the two La Liga giants.<\/p>\n

The Magpies will hope that they can close the deal soon given that it is not easy to fend off interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid.
