Caoimh\u00edn Kelleher<\/a> came through the Liverpool academy and made his competitive debut in 2019. Since then, he has climbed up the ladders pretty fast. <\/span>He has already proved himself <\/span>as<\/span> a worthy goalkeeper<\/span>, <\/span>capable of representing a big club.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kelleher has been on and off the initial team sheet this season. He has featured for 1530 minutes so far, distributed across 17 games. In those many opportunities, he has <\/span>managed to keep<\/span> eight clean sheets while conceding 15 goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Irish shot-stopper is a proactive keeper who quickly comes out of his line to cut down the angles. He has quick reflexes and strong hands to block shots. <\/span>He keeps <\/span>his<\/span> calm <\/span>under<\/span> pressure<\/span> situations and has good penalty-saving abilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robert Sanchez has failed to impress<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Chelsea has Robert Sanchez<\/a> as their primary goalkeeper but his performances have been debatable <\/span>so far<\/span>. He hasn\u2019t flourished between the sticks and has messed up <\/span>on multiple occasions<\/span>. <\/span>It\u2019s evident that<\/span> the club needs a better option if they wish to compete for prestigious titles.<\/span><\/p>\n

As per the latest reports, Enzo Maresca has <\/span>set his eyes<\/span> on Liverpool\u2019s Caoimh\u00edn Kelleher. The Irish shot-stopper is still very much the second choice behind Alisson Becker<\/a>. The arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili next season could make things even worse for him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hence, Kelleher wouldn\u2019t mind leaving Anfield given he gets a guaranteed start at the Stamford Bridge. Even Liverpool shouldn\u2019t mind cashing on the goalkeeper should Chelsea offer a reasonable transfer price.
