According to <\/span>Mundo Deportivo<\/span><\/a>, Barcelona are open to listening offers for Andreas Christensen. The Spanish outfit believes that they have enough options for the defensive line and it will be viable to offload the mentioned defender next summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andreas Christensen is struggling with injuries<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Andreas Christensen<\/a> started his career at Chelsea but couldn\u2019t establish himself there. Hence, he moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer. While he has been a decent performer for them so far, his recurring injury issues haven\u2019t done any favour to him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Christensen has featured only once in the ongoing campaign for merely 26 minutes. While he returned from a long-term injury recently, he suffered a calf injury in training which will keep him out of action for some more time.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Danish defender is versatile enough to don the centre-back or a defensive midfielder role. He is comfortable with the ball and is a good distributor. He is also good at blocking shots and marks an aerial presence due to his good height.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andreas Christensen can leave easily<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Barcelona have reignited themselves under the coaching of Hansi Flick<\/a> this season. They have adapted to new strategies which has worked well for them <\/span>so far<\/span>. Whoever has taken charge of the backline has done well for the club.<\/span><\/p>\n

With multiple options for the centre-back position, it\u2019s ideal for the Spanish club to offload Andreas Christensen. They signed him for free and hence, even a reasonable offer for him will allow the club to book a decent profit upon him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Christensen\u2019s recurring injuries are a matter of concern and with Eric Garcia<\/a> doing <\/span>really<\/span> well, there is no need for Barcelona to keep hold of the Danish defender.
