They are monitoring the situation of the Portugal international in the Serie A club.<\/p>\n

Chelsea want to sign Rafael Leao in the summer transfer window<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Leao has developed into one of the best left-wingers in the world and has been an integral part of the AC Milan side. However, he has not been that consistent this season but still has attracted the attention of many elite clubs due to the quality that he possesses.<\/p>\n

The Blues do have enough depth and quality on the wings but still want more at their disposal. He is a dynamo on the pitch and possesses electric pace, dribbling skills, and flair that often leaves defenders in his wake. At 25, he\u2019s already established as one of Serie A\u2019s brightest stars at AC Milan, with a knack for both scoring and creating spectacular goals. His versatility to play across the front line adds to his appeal.<\/p>\n

Chelsea\u2019s interest in him is driven by their desire to inject creativity and goal-scoring threat into their forward line. Le\u00e3o\u2019s youth, combined with his experience in top European competitions, makes him an attractive prospect for Chelsea\u2019s ambitious project.<\/p>\n

Will the deal go through?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Leao has scored 5 goals in 22 matches so far in the Serie A 2024\/2025 season. Overall, his goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.3. Moreover, Leao\u2019s total G\/A (goals + assists) is 10 for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.59 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.39.<\/p>\n

Looking into his passing aspect of the game, Leao passes the ball roughly 29.53 times during a game with a pass completion rate of 79.01%. He also plays 2.19 key passes each game. Overall, his (expected assists) output is 0.28 per 90 minutes. Therefore, he will still be a vital addition to the Chelsea squad.<\/p>\n

The Blues are big fans of the 25-year-old and were even discussing the player when Joao Felix was moving to Milan in the winter transfer window. Milan has informed Chelsea that Leao has a contract with them till 2028 and they don\u2019t want to sell the player in the upcoming summer. However, the Blues bid and also the intentions of Leao will have a massive say on whether the transfer happens or not.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
