Ange Postecoglou raised some eyebrows by benching James Maddison for the trip to Portman Road, especially after the Englishman’s match-winner against Manchester United just six days earlier. But the decision paid off big time, with Spurs putting on a show even without him starting.

Brennan Johnson stole the headlines with a first-half brace, proving he’s a key piece of Postecoglou’s puzzle. The guy’s got a knack for popping up when it matters, and Son Heung-min was right there with him, looking sharper than he has in a while.
