The former Arsenal<\/a> shot-stopper moved from the Gunners to Southampton after the new signing David Raya became the first-choice goalkeeper for the side.<\/p>\n

Chelsea want to sign Aaron Ramsdale<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ramsdale has shown his performances for Southampton, who are fighting to avoid relegation from the Premier League. The Blues are interested in the player, but the deal could only be possible if Kepa Arrizabalaga moves away from the Stamford Bridge permanently. Robert Sanchez has not performed well and has faced criticism from the fans. Hence, Enzo Maresca is looking for a new goalkeeper in the summer.<\/p>\n

Ramsdale has conceded 38 goals and kept 2 clean sheets in 19 matches in the Premier League 2024\/2025 season. That means when Ramsdale is in goal, his team concedes a goal every 45 minutes. Aaron Ramsdale\u2019s conceded goal per 90 minutes is 2.<\/p>\n

Chelsea, however, faces stern competition from Leeds United for his services. They want to sign an alternative to Illan Meslier. However, the main thing that has to be seen is if Ramsdale, having played for Chelsea\u2019s arch-rivals Arsenal, decides to make the move to Stamford Bridge if the Blues come out with an offer for the star.<\/p>\n
