However, they will only be looking to sell him if they manage to sign a perfect replacement for their number-one shot-stopper.<\/p>\n

Newcastle United want to sell Nick Pope<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Pope has been the main goalkeeper for the side since signing for the club in 2022. However, he has struggled with his form and injury concerns this season. So, the Magpies want to get money by selling him, as he is still 32 and still playing international football. They are looking to offload him for \u00a310 to \u00a315 million and sign a perfect, proper replacement for the 32-year-old.<\/p>\n

He is renowned for his exceptional shot-stopping ability, often cited as among the Premier League\u2019s best. Pope\u2019s imposing presence and reach dominate the penalty area, instilling confidence in his defense. The 32-year-old Englishman excels in one-on-one situations, showcasing quick reflexes and composure under pressure.<\/p>\n

While his distribution lacks flair, his focus remains on reliability, with a league-leading clean sheet record in 2022-23 (14 in 37 games). Hardworking and humble, Pope\u2019s consistency, aerial command, and ability to transform backlines make him a vital asset, despite his modest ball-playing skills. So, the Magpies can definitely get a decent amount by still selling him.<\/p>\n

Therefore, in my opinion, it is definitely a good decision to offload him since he is 32 and has also struggled with injury issues. However, the club needs to find a proper and younger replacement for him before offloading him in the summer. The club are looking at Burnley<\/a>\u2019s James Trafford as the one to replace Pope in the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
