Manchester City entertained Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn maximum points at home in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola\u2019s men made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the contest thanks to Jack Grealish\u2019s finish in the second minute. Omar Marmoush doubled Man City\u2019s lead in the 29th minute as the home side went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Man City sat on their lead well in the second 45 minutes and managed to secure a solid 2-0 win at the Etihad.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester City<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Foxes.<\/p>\n

GK: Ederson \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Brazilian keeper didn\u2019t have a save to make in the game and earned an easy clean sheet at home.<\/p>\n

RB: Matheus Nunes \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made two decent runs with the ball and was tidy with his passing.<\/p>\n

CB: Ruben Dias \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dias made two important clearances inside his half and was solid in the air.<\/p>\n

CB: Josko Gvardiol \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

LB: Nico O\u2019Reilly \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

O\u2019Reilly was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch<\/p>\n

CM: Nico Gonzalez \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gonzalez offered decent protection for his teammates at the back.<\/p>\n

CM: Ilkay Gundogan \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield well and made two inviting chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

RW: Savio \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Savio was a constant menace in the opponent\u2019s half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CAM: Jack Grealish \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a dream start to the game as he scored the opener with a tidy finish. However, Grealish was quiet in the second half.<\/p>\n

LW: Jeremy Doku \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doku caught the eye at times but didn\u2019t do enough to register a goal.<\/p>\n
