Tottenham Hotspur clashed heads with Eintracht Frankfurt at the Deutsche Bank Park earlier tonight as they focused on earning a win in the UEFA Europa League. Spurs made a solid start to the game and managed to get their noses ahead in the 43rd minute thanks to Dominic Solanke\u2019s penalty. Ange Postecoglu\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

The North London giants defended their slender advantage well and earned a hard-fought 1-0 win on the road. Tottenham ended up securing qualification after winning the tie 2-1 on aggregate.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> player fared during the match against Eintracht Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

GK: Guglielmo Vicario \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vicario made a few solid saves during the game and did well to secure a clean sheet tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Pedro Porro \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and made some inviting chances for his teammates from the right flank.<\/p>\n

CB: Cristian Romero \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Romero put his foot through the ball when required and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

CB: Micky Van de Ven \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a rock at the back and passed the ball accurately from inside his half.<\/p>\n

LB: Destiny Udogie \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t do much wrong defensively and made some decent runs on the left flank.<\/p>\n

CM: Lucas Bergvall \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bergvall offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was a good dribbler with the ball.<\/p>\n

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield with conviction but offered very little in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: James Maddison \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maddison made one good chance up top and was replaced in the 45th minute.<\/p>\n

RW: Brennan Johnson \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He engineered a few inviting chances on the offensive end of the field but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

ST: Dominic Solanke \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Solanke scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Mathys Tel \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He proved his worth at times on the left wing but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n
