Manchester City faced off against Everton at Goodison Park earlier this afternoon as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola\u2019s men made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.<\/p>\n

Nico O\u2019Reilly finally made the breakthrough in the 84th minute when he found the back of the net from close range. Mateo Kovacic added another goal in injury time as the Mancunian club secured an impressive 2-0 win away from home.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester City<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Toffees.<\/p>\n

GK: Stefan Ortega \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ortega made two solid saves at the back and secured an important clean sheet today.<\/p>\n

RB: Matheus Nunes \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He cleared his lines when he could and was lively going forward. Nunes has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CB: Ruben Dias \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dias put his foot through the ball when he could and won a couple of aerial duels.<\/p>\n

CB: Josko Gvardiol \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He earned the ball back twice and was tidy with his ball distribution.<\/p>\n

LB: Nico O\u2019Reilly \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and made some driving runs with the ball. O\u2019Reilly scored the all-important opener in the 84th minute.<\/p>\n

CM: Nico Gonzalez \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gonzalez caught the eye at times but failed to influence the game in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Ilkay Gundogan \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He controlled the game well from midfield and ended the game with an assist to his name.<\/p>\n

RW: Bernardo Silva \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Silva worked hard but lacked quality in front of the opponent\u2019s goal.<\/p>\n

CAM: Kevin De Bruyne \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He proved his worth at times but never looked like he would score. De Bruyne was substituted in the 87th minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Savio \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Savio caused a few headaches for his marker and was replaced in the 77th minute.<\/p>\n

ST: Omar Marmoush \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few dangerous runs with the ball but there was no goal for him this afternoon.<\/p>\n

He added some pace to Guardiola\u2019s attack.<\/p>\n
