Chelsea entertained Everton at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 27th minute thanks to Nicolas Jackson\u2019s sharp finish. Enzo Maresca\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

The West London club defended their slender lead well in the second half and secured a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Chelsea<\/a> player fared during the match against the Toffees.<\/p>\n

GK: Robert Sanchez \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few solid saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet this afternoon.<\/p>\n

CB: Trevoh Chalobah \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chalobah put his foot through the ball when he could and did enough to secure a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

CB: Levi Colwill \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Colwill dealt with the danger when needed and managed to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

CB: Marc Cucurella \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He kept things tidy at the back and was a good presence on the ball.<\/p>\n

He made a few dangerous runs with the ball but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

CM: Moises Caicedo \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Caicedo anchored the midfield with conviction but struggled to influence the game going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Romeo Lavia \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He earned possession back twice and had a couple of bright moments in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

LW: Noni Madueke \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Madueke was not shy of having a strike at goal but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.<\/p>\n

RAM: Cole Palmer \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caused a few headaches for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

LAM: Enzo Fernandez \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandez engineered a couple of decent chances for others around him in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

ST: Nicolas Jackson \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He scored the only goal of the game in the first half but was quiet in the second.<\/p>\n

He was solid at the back after coming off the bench.<\/p>\n
