Arsenal entertained Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal tie. The Gunners made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the fourth minute when Ousmane Dembele scored with a superb finish. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

The North London club tried their best to find the leveler in the second half but ended up suffering a tough 1-0 loss at the Emirates.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against PSG.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raya made a couple of solid saves at the back but couldn\u2019t do much about Dembele\u2019s finish early in the game.<\/p>\n

RB: Jurrien Timber \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He earned the ball back twice but offered very little in the final third.<\/p>\n

CB: William Saliba \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saliba put his foot through the ball when required and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

CB: Jakub Kiwior \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He failed to keep things solid at the back but was a threat at the other end of the field.<\/p>\n

LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lewis-Skelly was strong on the ball and had a couple of lively moments in the PSG half.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Odegaard \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He engineered one decent chance in the final third but never looked like he would score.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rice anchored the midfield well and orchestrated a couple of inviting chances for his teammates to score.<\/p>\n

CM: Mikel Merino \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made two good opportunities in the final third but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

RW: Bukayo Saka \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saka made a few dangerous runs with the ball but was left frustrated in front of the opposition goal.<\/p>\n

ST: Leandro Trossard \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He went close to scoring in the second half and was denied by a superb save from Gianluigi Donnarumma.<\/p>\n

LW: Gabriel Martinelli \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Martinelli got himself into some promising positions but lacked quality inside the PSG penalty area.<\/p>\n
