With Spanish giants Real Madrid also pushing for a move, Villa boss Unai Emery and sporting director Pablo Monchi are willing to trigger his release clause to fast-track a deal.<\/p>\n

Emery is reportedly frustrated with the veteran Emiliano Martinez following several high-profile errors between the sticks. The 32-year-old Argentine World Cup winner is drawing interest<\/a> from Saudi Arabia, and the Villans could cash in on their \u2018number 1\u2019 to pave the way for the Spanish youth international.<\/p>\n

Garcia, 23, progressed through the academy ranks of Manresa, Damm, and Espanyol before breaking into the latter\u2019s first-team squad in December 2021. After featuring sporadically over the next couple of years, the youngster eventually replaced Fernando Pacheco in the Segunda Divisi\u00f3n at the backend of the 2023-24 season.<\/p>\n
