Arsenal locked horns with Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes earlier tonight as they looked to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit in their UEFA Champions League semifinal tie. The Gunners made a dominant start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 27th minute when Fabian Ruiz scored with a brilliant strike. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Achraf Hakimi killed the game off in the 72nd minute when he scored with a tidy finish. Bukayo Saka got a goal back for the Gunners just four minutes later. However, Arsenal ended up losing the match by a 2-1 scoreline (3-1 on aggregate).<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against PSG.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made some solid saves at the back and even managed to save a penalty. However, Raya conceded twice tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Jurrien Timber \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Timber did his fair share of defending and made two key chances going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: William Saliba \u2013 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made two important clearances at the back but failed to keep things solid inside his half.<\/p>\n

CB: Jakub Kiwior \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kiwior did his best to keep the PSG attackers quiet but it was not enough in the end.<\/p>\n

LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly \u2013 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was far from convincing on the defensive end of the field and offered very little in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Odegaard \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Odegaard caught the eye at times in the first half but was quiet in the second.<\/p>\n

CM: Thomas Partey \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield with conviction and made two decent chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rice earned possession back twice for the Gunners but lacked quality in the PSG half.<\/p>\n

RW: Bukayo Saka \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a constant menace on the right flank and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 76th minute. However, Saka missed a sitter soon after.<\/p>\n

ST: Mikel Merino \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Merino failed to threaten the PSG goal and put in a disjointed performance tonight.<\/p>\n

LW: Gabriel Martinelli \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few eye-catching runs with the ball but never looked like he would score.<\/p>\n

LB: Riccardo Calafiori \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one key chance going forward.<\/p>\n

LW: Leandro Trossard \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trossard made two positive runs with the ball.<\/p>\n
