As reported by <\/span>GIVEMSPORT<\/span><\/a>, Liverpool <\/span>are<\/span> keen on signing Wolves star Pedro Neto <\/span>in<\/span> the summer transfer window.<\/span> The former club even held talks with the player\u2019s agent and his current club to discuss the possible move.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pedro Neto has decent numbers<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Pedro Neto<\/a> arrived at Wolves in the summer of 2019 from Braga. Since then, he has seen massive improvements in his game. He has emerged as a reliable name and is considered one of the best wingers in the Premier League <\/span>at present<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Neto enjoyed a decent campaign last season, <\/span>where he scored<\/span> three goals in 24 games. He also had 11 assists to his name. He averaged 1.6 shots, 1.7 key passes, and 1.9 dribbles per game (stats via <\/span>whoscored<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

The Portuguese forward is extremely versatile as he can play on either of the wings or also in the centre. He can dribble, or use the change of pace to get advanced <\/span>forward<\/span>. He likes to put crosses and is also effective at taking set pieces. However, the player still needs to improve his finishing.<\/span><\/p>\n

A new competitor for Luis Diaz?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Earlier there were speculations that Luis Diaz<\/a> might leave Liverpool this summer. But it seems like he <\/span>is going to<\/span> stay at the club next season. However, that will not stop the club from recruiting a name <\/span>who can<\/span> compete with Diaz on the wing.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Reds are interested in Pedro Neto because of his excellent attacking sense in the final third. The player\u2019s arrival will add depth to the offensive unit for Arne Slot<\/a>. Moreover, as the player is just 24 <\/span>years old<\/span>, he can improve further and emerge as a world-class forward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Neto still has three years left on his contract with Wolves. It allows his current employers to demand a good fee to sanction the move.
