On the day that the Trump administration challenged ABC\u2019s station licenses<\/a>, Jimmy Kimmel had a message for President Donald <\/strong>Trump: The show goes on. <\/p>\n

On Tuesday night\u2019s episode of \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d the comedian did not refer to the news about the network\u2019s parent company, Disney, coming under highly unusual scrutiny from the federal government. <\/p>\n

Instead, the comedian used a satirical monologue on King Charles and Queen Camilla\u2019s visit to the White House to highlight the hypocrisy of a joke the president made about his marriage to first lady <\/strong>Melania Trump.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

During an arrival ceremony for the royals, Trump spoke Tuesday about his parents\u2019 63-year-marriage, turning to Melania and joking, \u201cThat\u2019s a record we won\u2019t be able to match, darling, I\u2019m sorry.\u201d <\/p>\n

Referencing the controversy around comments he made last week<\/a> about the first lady, Kimmel playfully asked the audience, \u201cWait a minute, did he just make a joke about his death?\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cOnly Donald Trump would demand that I be fired for making a joke about his old age and then a day later, go out and make a joke about his old age,\u201d Kimmel said. <\/p>\n
