Adelita Grijalva of Arizona was sworn into Congress, giving the House the necessary 218 signatories needed to force a vote to release the Justice Department&#8217;s Epstein documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>WASHINGTON \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2025\/07\/25\/trump-jeffrey-epstein-friendship-conspiracy\/85307396007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\">Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>, the disgraced financier and accused sex trafficker, wrote that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/news\/politics\/donald-trump\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\">President Donald Trump<\/a> &#8220;spent hours at my house&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OversightDems\/status\/1988600468990484626\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\">with one of Epstein&#8217;s victims<\/a> and allegedly &#8220;knew about the girls,&#8221; according to emails House Democrats released Nov. 12.<\/p>\n<p>The White House called the Democratic release of the emails a &#8220;smear.&#8221; Trump attended parties with Epstein and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2025\/07\/25\/trump-jeffrey-epstein-friendship-conspiracy\/85307396007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\">flew on his private plane<\/a> during the 1990s. But Trump later ousted Epstein from his club and has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2025\/07\/30\/trump-epstein-island\/85402751007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\">forcefully denied knowing<\/a> about the sex trafficking. She is expected to provide the final signature needed to force a vote on legislation that would release all Department of Justice records about the Epstein investigation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These emails prove absolutely nothing other than the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong,&#8221; White House Press Secretary Karline Leavitt told reporters.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Epstein case continues to dog Trump after he and his supporters spent years suggesting a cover-up surrounding the financier, before Trump&#8217;s Justice Department and FBI declared the case closed in July.<\/p>\n<h2>Grijalva signs Epstein discharge petition after being sworn into Congress<\/h2>\n<p>Immediately after being sworn in to hear seat, Arizona Democratic Rep.
