How to knit English Rib

In this DROPS video we show how to knit English rib. This large fluffy rib is identical on both sides. It’s great for scarves, blankets etc.

We knit back and forth on needles, using an uneven number of sts.
1st row: 1 edge st in garter, *K1, yo, slip 1 st as if purled*, rep *-*, end with K1, 1 edge st in garter.
2nd row: 1 edge st in garter, *yo, slip 1 st as if purled, K next st and yo tog*, rep *-*, end with yo, slip 1 st as if purled, 1 edge st in garter.
3rd row: 1 edge st in garter, *K next st and yo tog, yo, slip 1 st as if purled *, rep *-*, end with K next st and yo tog, 1 edge st in garter. Repeat row 2 and 3 (This video is showing row 2 and 3).
