In this DROPS video we show how you can knit short rows with a wrap on the right side (RS).
When knitting short rows you can shape the garment by making soft curves or give a better fit by creating bust darts. Short rows are partially knitted rows before turning. By turning with a wrap you avoid a hole at the turning point.
Short row from RS: Work number of sts told in pattern, slip following st purl-wise, place yarn in front of work, slip st back on left needle, turn and work the row back. When knitting next row and getting to the st with wrap; work wrap and stitch together as one stitch and then finish row.

A long piece of rope represents three dimensionally a series of waves floating in space, as well as producing sounds from the physical action of their movement: the rope which creates the volume also simultaneously creates the sound by cutting through the air, making up a single element.
Depending on how we may act in front of it, according to the number of observers and their movements, it will pass from a steady line without sound to chaotic shapes of irregular sounds (the more movement there is around the installation) through the different phases of sinusoidal waves and harmonic sounds.
But even though this could seem like a mere representation of what we can’t see for ourselves, beyond the persistence of vision, it connects with our most visceral side, combining the intangible beauty of the represented graphic with the brutality of the sound it produces, creating a hypnotic environment of audible results and unique visual stimulations.
In this DROPS video we show how to work English rib variation. This rib pattern looks like English rib, but less bulky and yarn consuming.
Number of sts (not incl edge sts) should be able to divide by 4 + 3.
1st row: 1 edge st in garter, *k3, slip 1 st as if to purl with yarn in front of work*, rep *-*, end row with k3, 1 edge st in garter.
2nd row: 1 edge st in garter, k1, * slip 1 st as if to purl with yarn in front of work, k3*, rep *-*, end row with slip 1 st as if to purl with yarn in front of work, k1 and 1 edge st in garter. Rep row 1 and 2.

I got really lucky and captured what I believe to be a meteor explosion with a resulting, expanding shock wave or debris ring.
UPDATE: After being fortunate to have Universe Today cross post my vid, I learned more about the phenomena recorded here. While this does show a meteor breaking apart, the resulting, expanding ring is called a “persistent train” and is NOT a debris ring. Rather, it is glowing gas – charged gas that has been heated by compression caused by the meteor and giving off electrons (similar to how a neon sign works). It happens fairly often but it isn’t so regularly documented.
Because I shoot at much higher resolution than 720p, I was able to provide (2) sequences in this video: (1) is with the full frame of each capture scaled/reduced and then cropped down to 1280×720, and (2) the other is with the full frame kept at resolution with just the region around the explosion cropped to 1280×720. I included each sequence twice – once at 24fps and the other at around 12fps.

In this DROPS video we show how to knit Kitchener stitch. This means knitting two parts together with an invisible seam. This is a perfect technique for the top of the toes on a sock, shoulders etc.
Have your sts on each needle with right sides out. Working yarn attached in the back piece. Following 4 steps are being repeated:
1. go purl-wise into first st on front needle, pull yarn through, lift st off needle.
2. go knit-wise into next st on front needle, pull yarn through (leave st on needle).
3. go knit wise into first st on back needle, pull yarn through, lift st off needle.
4. go purl-wise into next st on back needle, pull yarn through (leave st on needle).
