How to crochet with multiple colours
In this DROPS video we show how to crochet with multiple colours. The principle when crocheting with multiple colors is to use a separate ball for each color field. In the last stitch of a color wait with last pull through and pull through with next color. It is important to plan the next row when you are working a row, so that you bring the thread to where it will be used on the next row.
I.e in this video the pink will be used from the start of the next row, so when you are finished with the pink color on this row and you continue green, you crochet around the pink yarn so that you bring it to the edge. When changing colors also make sure to twist the strands, and tighten, to avoid holes between colors. This video has NO SOUND – you must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly. How to crochet stripes
In this DROPS video we show how crochet stripes. When you crochet stripes, or want to change color, this his how you do it; when working the last stitch with the old color wait with the last pull through. Take new color and now pull trough.Tighten the old thread. Turn work with a ch and keep working with the new color.
If there is a longer distance between the stripes make sure to twist the new color around the previous one when you reach the edge, so that the old color follow the side of your work until you will use it. If this is a sweater the threads will run along the inside of side seam, if it’s a potholder, you can make a crochet edge around the potholder afterward to cover the treads along the edge.

Into the Night
“Into the Night” is a project of light and colour that tries to show Barcelona, its surroundings and some specific areas of Catalonia, from a different, unusual and cinematic point of view.To achieve that, has been used the time-lapse technique, which allows to capture the time at specified intervals, frame-by-frame, using mostly, in this case, long exposure.
Part of the project has been made in the so-called blue hour, whose diffused light has some features that allow to capture spectacular sunrises or sunsets full of warm colors thanks to the position of the sun relative to the horizon. It is in these moments when the skies still have shades of color and the natural light is mixed with the artificial light of the city, thus being able to capture skies in detail and urban buildings illuminated simultaneously.
This has been a photographic adventure of understanding the light and color of the night. An opportunity to observe the urban space and its density and to contemplate how these elements converge. An exercise of patience and perseverance throughout dozens of nights and dawns of cold carrying heavy stuff. And of course many hours of postproduction.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the support that Miriam Morales has given me throughout the project, the help of Antonio Morales in some shots, Elisabet de Loreto for getting the access to various locations, Guillem Rejon for the excellent music composed for the occasion, Albert Pérez from Casanova fotografia, and especially Oscar Segura, who has been my right hand in this project and without whose help this would not have been possible. Thank you very much to you all! Hope you like it and thanks for watching!

How to cast on from chain row
In this DROPS video we show how to cast on from a chain row. By having a chain row at the bottom of your work you can create live loops that can be picked up afterward and be worked down, e.g. cuffs, lace borders etc.Chain the number of sts needed and add a few extra. Turn the chain row so that you have the back side with the bumps up. Pick up sts with your working yarn through each bump. Afterward you can easily pull out the chains to unzip the sts and put them back on needle.
