Solar energy isn’t just for wealthy homeowners. Now, low-to-moderate income residents in east Baltimore can benefit from it. The solar panels that fuel the new initiative are located on the roof of the Henderson-Hopkins School. Partners said the project is a win-win for the community, creating job opportunities and solar energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
