I just wrapped up an intense bee removal job in Corona, California, and these honey bees had been working overtime! The hive was hidden underneath a solar panel, and the amount of brood and honey I uncovered was unbelievable. It felt like I hit the jackpot—the colony stopped right at the edge of the panel!
I carefully performed a complete bee rescue, relocating the brood into a secure box and collecting the honey separately. The only way to secure the box was by sliding it back under the solar panel. These honey bees were thriving, and I’ll return in 5 to 10 days to check on the relocated colony and make sure they’re settling in safely.
