India and Sri Lanka take a giant leap in green energy with the groundbreaking of the Sampur Solar Power Plant,a 120 MW joint venture between India’s NTPC and Sri Lanka’s CEB. With a $100 million investment, the first 50 MW phase will power progress, reduce emissions by 2 lakh tons, and boost jobs in the Eastern Province. Under PM Modi’s leadership, India remains Sri Lanka’s trusted development partner, with $7 billion in total support and projects in all 25 districts.
