Off-Grid UPGRADE: Solar Power Comes to Our Italian Homestead ⚡️

This was a HUGE week on our Homestead in Rural Italy. We had some much needed help to finish and start huge projects on the land. We finish the build of our tool shed construction (almost 🤪), and we begin our long-awaited project, installing a huge solar panel system on the roof of our tiny home. This is a complete game-changing step for our homestead, soon taking us completely off the grid.

With a bit of much-needed help, we’ve also been planting pear and chestnut trees, laying the groundwork for a future permaculture food forest. Comfrey roots, permaculture practices and good old-fashioned digging by hand — it’s all part of restoring our piece of abandoned land.
