🧟Vein Day 8 – Permadeath
After losing our old base to the horde, it’s time to rebuild stronger. We begin by searching for solar panels in Saranac Town Park, but our panel van breaks down mid-mission. Using a battery from an abandoned car, we manage to repair it and head home to start a new chapter.
We scout two potential base sites and discover the perfect one — a hunting cabin on its own mini island, surrounded by a beautiful lake with only one bridge entrance. It already has farming plots and plenty of open space for defenses — an ideal foundation for our next stronghold.
After choosing our new home, we spend the day moving supplies, rebuilding workstations, and looting a tool garage for materials to fortify our island base against the next inevitable horde.
