After four months running the system, our electricity usage from the grid has dropped by 81.7%, and our power bill for the quarter fell from over $2000 down to $541.
This system includes:
• 62 Longi 475W solar panels
• 25kW Sungrow inverter
• 50kWh Sungrow battery storage (two stacks)
• 3-phase home power setup
• Additional 5kW inverter in the shed
While we may not be 100% off-grid yet, we’re extremely close — and the blackout protection alone has already been worth it.
