Solar panels take energy from the sun and convert it into DC electricity. That electricity then flows into an inverter, which converts the power from DC to AC, making it usable for your home. Once converted, the electricity powers the devices and appliances in your house just like normal utility power.
In this video I demonstrate the process step-by-step and even use a multimeter to prove the solar panels are producing DC power and the inverter is producing AC power.
