I’ve been testing my solar panel setup for over six months in the UK in 2025, and here’s a review of my experiences so far. One dodgy Tesla PowerWall aside, I’d certainly recommend solar panels for producing energy at home, plus a battery for storage. You can monitor exactly how much power those solar panels are producing, using the mobile app. And if you have a battery and sign up for energy export, you can also setup your gear to make a bit of money.
