It turns out solar panels can help farmers – when they’re used the right way.
Too many solar projects try to eliminate weeds and wildlife to protect the panels, leading to a desert-like ecosystem underneath.
But it doesn’t have to be that way! Some farmers are experimenting with panels farther off the ground, providing shade and forage for livestock, and cooling the solar panels – which makes them even more efficient!
We love solutions that are a win-win-win!
