Sky News host Rita Panahi criticises Energy Minister Chris Bowen for his attempts to be an “Insta influencer” while spruiking new solar panels at the Brisbane Lions HQ.
“Let’s get the latest from Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen, who’s become almost a full-time Insta influencer. His output is prolific,” Ms Panahi said.
“This time, he’s telling us he’s, I don’t know, a Brisbane Lions fan, and he is spruiking how solar panels are going to half their power prices.
“If they are halving their bills by employing these methods, why are my bills skyrocketing? All these renewables haven’t really done much to lower my power bills.
“He loves the camera. He loves just trying to go viral.”
