This Youtube channel is about me Sven Yrvind. I am86 year and seven months old dyslectic solo sailor. I am converting a modest size 30 year old a 17 feet, 5.2 meter long high latitude canoe cruiser of my design.
A little boat to inspire the small and the thoughtful.
She is a sandwich construction built with 30 mm Divinycell, polyester fiber and NM epoxy. Her beam is 1.4 meter. She is a three masted lugger with a total sail area of 7.5 square meter. She has a bow centerboard. And twin keels. I am planning a cruise south of Africa and Australia to Dunedin in NZ to have an ice cream.
Often the 22th every month I do a resume of the project.
