This Youtube channel is about me Sven Yrvind. I am86 year and ten months old dyslectic solo sailor.
I am designing a modest, amphibious, shallow-draft, high-latitude cruiser.
To show what she can do, I will sail her in cold waters.
She is a 5.2 meter long sandwich construction built with 30 mm Divinycell, polyester fiber and NM epoxy. Her beam is 1.4 meter. She is a three masted lugger with a total sail area of 7.5 square meter. She has a bow centerboard. And twin keels. I am planning a cruise in the Southern Ocean south of Africa and Australia to Dunedin in NZ to have an ice cream.
Often the 22th every month I do a resume of the project.
I have an illustrated book with good reviews on Amazon.
