The video explains the complete installation process of a 5 kW rooftop solar system by UTL Solar with government subsidy.

1. Customer Inquiry & Inspection
✓ A customer contacts the company by phone or by visiting the shop.
✓ Engineers check the electricity bill to understand the current load and energy usage.
✓ A site visit is done to inspect roof space and determine how many kilowatts can be installed.
✓ If the customer’s approved electricity load is low, it can be increased through the electricity department.

2. Payment & Loan Option
✓ Total system cost is about ₹2.5 lakh.
✓ The government provides a ₹78,000 subsidy.
✓ Customers can get up to 90% loan at low interest, paying only 10% upfront.
✓ Loan repayment period can be up to 10 years in easy installments.

3. Material Delivery & Structure Installation
✓ All equipment is delivered to the house in one shipment.
✓ Engineers select the optimal panel angle to maximize sunlight exposure.
✓ A metal mounting structure is installed on the roof using drilling and base plates.
✓ Civil foundation work with cement and concrete is added to make the structure strong against wind and storms.

4. Panel Installation
✓ After the foundation dries, solar panels are mounted on the structure using clamps.
✓ Everything is tightened and secured because the system is designed to last 25+ years.

5. Wiring & Safety Setup
✓ Panels are connected using MC4 connectors (positive and negative).
✓ DC wiring runs through protective pipes for safety and a clean installation.
✓ A lightning arrester is installed.
✓ Three earthing systems are provided:

✓ Structure earthing

6. Inverter & Electrical Safety Boxes

✓ 27-year performance warranty on panels.

9. Smart Features
✓ The inverter has a touch interface and fault indicator system.
✓ It includes Wi-Fi connectivity.
✓ Using the UTL Solar mobile app, users can monitor daily, monthly, and yearly electricity generation.
