Ever thought about putting solar panels somewhere other than your roof?
In this video, I install solar panels directly onto a wall to see if it’s actually a good idea… or a complete waste of time.
Wall-mounted solar isn’t as common, and it’s definitely not the most “optimal” setup — but it might be a great way to use space that would otherwise go to waste. So I wanted to test it for myself.
We’ll go through:
• How I mounted the panels
• The basic setup and inverter install
• What to consider before trying this yourself
• And whether this could actually make sense in the real world
Then, after living with the setup for a while, we’ll come back and look at how it actually performs.
Is this a smart way to add extra solar… or just a bad idea?
Let’s find out.

I’ll be doing a follow-up video once I’ve got some real performance data, so if you’re interested in how this actually holds up over time, make sure you’re subscribed.
