I’ve always wondered: can you really use both solar input ports on the Aferiy P280 at the same time — and with different panels? I decided to stop wondering and just test it.

Here’s what I did: I connected two solar panels in parallel into one of the Aferiy P280’s solar input ports, then wired a third panel into the second input port separately. The question was simple — would the power station recognize both inputs and combine the output, or would something go sideways?

Folks, it worked out great.

In this video I walk you through exactly how I wired it up, what the Aferiy P280’s display showed throughout the test, and what the real-world power output looked like with all three panels running. If you’ve got mixed panels or want to maximize your solar input on a single power station, this one’s for you.

Here’s what I cover:
✅ Using both solar inputs simultaneously on the Aferiy P280
✅ Real-world combined output results — no sugarcoating
