In this video, I demonstrate how to charge an Exide 35Ah car battery using a 40-Watt, 24-Volt solar panel.

I connected the panel directly to the battery and left it in direct sunlight for 6 hours. After the charging period, the battery was fully topped up! To prove the results, I tested it by running a 12V motor, which performed perfectly.

⚠️ Disclaimer: This was an experiment. When using a 24V panel on a 12V battery, always monitor the voltage to prevent overcharging or damaging the battery. Using a solar charge controller is recommended for long-term use!
