After testing, I confirmed the panels are actually producing power internally, but nothing is making it past the junction box to the output leads.<\/p>\n<p>Following viewer suggestions from my previous video, I sacrificed one panel to investigate further. I removed the factory junction box, softened the silicone with heat, and even cut the box open to inspect the internals.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately (and somewhat disappointingly), the junction box is fully molded and potted in silicone, making it completely non-serviceable. The circuit board and diodes are totally encased, leaving no realistic way to repair them.<\/p>\n<p>While this video ends in a dead end, it answered an important question: these factory junction boxes are not worth trying to fix.
