I directed this 2d animated short film that was made with 10 volunteer artists to benefit Habitat for Humanity. The entire piece, from initial concept to final output was made in less than 3 weeks. All work was by donation.
Although this was produced as a gift for Habitat for Humanity Canada, I had complete creative and directorial control over the development, preproduction, production, and post.
The piece premiered theatrically at a benefit event for Habitat for Humanity on October 4th. On October 6th, UN World Habitat Day, the film released on-line, promoted by Habitat for Humanity Canada and Habitat for Humanity International. The film will be rereleased under the Habitat for Humanity International umbrella to all US affiliates and across 68 countries worldwide in January 2015.
