The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) has a large number of requirements pertaining to the development and maintenance of payment applications. The requirements span development, maintenance, support, access controls, auditing & logging, security awareness, assessment, and policies. Not only does this apply to the systems within a cardholder environment but also to supporting applications and your organization’s overall SDLC. Furthermore, these application specific requirements are often overlooked or misunderstood by development and information security departments. Within this presentation, we will review the most relevant PCI requirements that developers and application owners must focus on and how your organization can confidently comply.

He was a founder of the computer forensics team at Kroll Ontrack where he provided expert witness testimony and depositions regarding high profile computer security cases. As the founder and CTO of NetSPI, he is a national leader in risk management and security program assessment. Seth has provided consulting to over 100 different organizations within financial services, government, health care, education, nuclear energy, and retail. Seth is a Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor and Visa Qualified Payment Application Security Professional. Seth holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Kenyon College.

This is based on the recent development of recordscreen.py by Nathan Vegdahl ( http://www.cessen.com ). Inspired from David Revoy’s post ( http://www.davidrevoy.com/index.php?article65/recordscreen-py-video-and-audio-capture-for-linux-with-ffmpeg#form ).

For me it is a perfect utility and very light-weight for screen casting. I use the script along with KeyMon for getting mouse and key events on screen. Now I am dangerous with blender tutorial making power! Feedback on the quality, narration, KeyMon placement, and anything else you might think makes a tutorial have good quality is welcome.

Fred, Sean and Keith, three naive Americans wide-eyed at the prospects of finally making it big, set up shop and start constructing resorts for tourists’ next discount tropical vacation. What these inexperienced developers don’t know is that the seemingly inexhaustible cheap manual labour is about to run out. The natives are restless and starting to see through this new form of imperialism. When former revolutionary leader Daniel Ortega and the Sandinistas sweep back to power, legitimately or otherwise, not one of our Gringos is left unscathed. Dreams of plane loads of vacationers and pool-side margaritas give way to death threats and armed assaults. In a story of tourism vs. terrorism, one is never quite sure who has the upper hand nor if anyone is telling the honest truth.
