I’ve got solar panels facing the wrong directions at the wrong angle — and they work. After 3 years with panels at 28 degrees, 6 degrees, southeast and northwest, here’s what the data actually shows about solar panel angle in the UK.

My system: 5 panels southeast and 4 northwest on a garage roof (28 degree slope), plus 8 panels on a nearly flat gazebo (6 degree slope). The difference between the two? Less than 10%. That surprised me too.
