Today we’re upgrading my fence mounted solar panels.

Many of you already know my house runs on a fairly large solar system, but these fence panels serve a very specific purpose — they capture morning and evening sun when the roof panels aren’t performing at their best.

In this video I’m:

• Upgrading the fence solar layout
• Improving the capacity of the system
• Making the installation look cleaner
• Showing the real practical steps involved

This is a watch-me-work style video, where I walk through the decisions, the installation process, and the thinking behind how these panels fit into my wider home energy system.

Fence mounted solar might not be conventional, but it’s proven to be a great way to increase generation and capture solar energy at times of the day when roof panels struggle.
